Wanna drive an Abarth? Here’s your chance…..

abarth racing

What if I told you someone was going to give you a FIAT 500 Abarth today – in any of the stock color schemes you wanted – or you could attempt to customize it any way you want. The car would be beautifully and completely modeled and would drive just as you would expect – it would have 5-speed manual transmission with Torque Transfer Control, 160 Horsepower with a new 1.4-liter MultiAir®turbo engine, Frequency Selective Damping (FSD) front shock absorbers automatically providing the dampening needed for the track or uneven roadways, lowered ride height, a beefy rear suspension, larger brakes and wider tires to increase your driving confidence.

Or if you’re feeling brave, you could swap in some massive engine upgrades for something even more powerful. You could buy upgrades for just about every piece of the car, from the tires, to the exhaust, to some body kit pieces. Even the transmission could be swapped to turn the front wheel drive Abarth into an all wheel drive launching machine!

Too good to be true?  Well, there is a slight catch…

Although you can’t physically drive an Abarth in the USA yet, you can drive one in Forza 4 on the Xbox 360. If you’re a fan of racing games, then you should be familiar with the Forza Motorsport series. It is the Xbox equivalent of Gran Turismo and the most recent game in the series was released late last year. Let’s take a look:

that will just have to hold us for a little while longer….

In the mean time, visit our ABARTH page at Safford FIAT of Fredericksburg or stop by the dealership for more information.
